So this morning was going pretty much like every morning. My wonderful husband woke me up with a kiss on the forehead "babe, its 7:08" after literally dumping my oldest in the bed with me. Ok, Ok I get it...I got to get up but luckily I bought the girls a new pack of socks yesterday so I saved myself an easy 10 minutes of running around trying to find mates (or anything that might be considered close enough) so I figured I was good for another 10 minutes of cuddles:) I nestled down more into our soft memory foam mattress (best purchase of 2018..and Im including the house) and before it I knew it was 7:22, sh*t! It's go time!
I methodically ran through the rest of morning routine which turned out to be a pretty good one! Emilia had a nice packed lunch, home made pasta with lots of veggies (that I know she will meticulously pick out but a mom still has to try), there was time for curl cream in her crazy beautiful hair and she managed to chug down a yogurt smoothie all before she and her Dad rushed to the bus stop at 7:45. Then on to the youngest, my little rebel. Surprisingly she did not scream for 20 minutes when I refused to let her only wear a tutu to school in the 50 degree weather. And she only fake cried a little as I gently brushed her hair. She even put her shoes on herself and was excited about her pasta lunch although she officially announced she would not be "eating those green things in there". Off to preschool we went. We made it on time. I returned home to the smell of freshly roasted coffee (yay! my momma is here). Not a bad morning at all!!
I poured myself a mug of coffee and headed down to the studio. Feeling rather accomplished this morning. Reminiscing about how much I love my job as a family and newborn photographer in Concord NC. Then sat at my computer to get to work only to realize I needed to pay bills first, ugh. And then it happened. Spectrum. I logged in to pay and see that my bill has increased yet again! Our "introductory" price ended a few months ago. Aggravated but didn't have the time to shop around or wait for another install and figured we would just eat the cost for a few months. But now they raised the price again, why? In less than a few months we have gone from $45 for internet to $65 now apparently $75. Same internet. Same crappy speed. Whisky Tango Foxtrot? And so I called..I should have drank that mug of coffee first!
To wrap this up and finally get to my point basically we are being penalized for being "valued customers" and staying with spectrum for as long as we have. New clients are paying almost half of what we are paying, having been with them for years. How is that for treating your loyal customers. Yes, I will be shopping for a new internet company..but unfortunately I am aware they are all the same which is why I believe they can still get away with this backwards logic. So, I decided to start a revolution!!! Well, I have a lot going on so maybe a small scale revolt?
I refuse to have my customers feel the same way. My business has grown because of word of mouth. My customers become my friends. So as a thank you and to demonstrate how much I appreciate you I am giving any return clients $100 off their Christmas mini's! Seriously!!!!
You must have had a full session with Blink in the past 3 years. You may also qualify for $50 off if had a mini session with me! 2 mini sessions? Well even more off! Basically the more a loyal client you have been the better the deal I will give you! Just ask if you want to make sure of what you savings will be!
Also willing to pay for anyone who can share info for an internet provider that they LOVE!
