When asked such a simple question, those three little words evoke such a range of emotions and a variety of answers. Love is different for everyone yet we all aspire to attain it in one form or another. Hollywood banks on our need for it. History speaks to the lengths we are willing to go for it. Lives are created and ended for it. Let's face it without love I would not be here. Personally or professionally but since this is a business blog, let's focus on the professionally. I photograph love. I document love in all its forms, all its stages. Love between partners, love personified in a newborn, love between family members, generations. Love is my muse.
My dear friend Emmaleen; Barrister, world traveler, mum and undoubtedly a women in love is delving into this query. She has started a blog which explores relationships that seem to have withstood the "test of time." A new love story every week. Coming from the other side as a family attorney in London, she began to question what it was that held some couples together through the worse.
Now for the personal. You can read about my very own love story here soon. Read it and find out what brought me here to photographing Maternity, Newborns and Families in Concord NC, after earring a MSW and traveling a small bit of the world myself. Alternatively read it for selfish reasons. It may not all be Hollywood material but there is something special in each story that keeps these couples hand in hand. Get advice on how to find and keep love from those that have done just that, because after all, this is a business blog and I need more babies to photograph!
What's your answer? Support a fellow mom boss and check out her page below. Have a love story you want to share, reach out and let her know but make sure you have a great photograph to share along with your very own Nicholas Sparks tale!
